First showroom before renovation / Battesea
The site was scheduled for redevelopment which triggered the move to our current location in Wigmore Street where a dedicated showroom featuring the products from Modulnova was set up in 2013. In the years since its formation DesignSpace has continuously developed a dedicated following of architects, developers and interior designers who bring projects both large and small in the knowledge that the company will always have products at the forefront of the industry - backed up by a dedicated team whose focus is to create the best “design spaces”.
Founded by Keith Atkins and his then business partner, both of who have been involved in the fitted kitchen and bathroom industry since its infancy in the early 1970’s, DesignSpace was conceived as a business that could offer a wealth of experience in both the retail and contract markets in London and the south east. DesignSpace began trading in 2006 from its historic warehouse building on the Thames riverside in Battersea - previously a dairy - one of the larger “halls” was transformed into a contemporary showroom space with a glorious roof lantern.
